Frost defier
we walk in early, knowing that the white frost is coming to an end.
The bar was already freed from his icy coating
still rattled where otherwise ripples,
but the mating calls of the cranes are a unmistakable indication
that nature adapts to the pairing with the spring.
We train in the evening the Palatine support for cabaret price hoping for a good time and do all readers a pleasant weekend :-)

Summary (Source: Amazon)
A small village in northern Germany Teufelsmoor, years after the war. A pub where the old talk of revenants and wanderers. A manor house, whose owner, people in the village manipulate and despise. An old factory, after which no one dares to ask. Christian here grow up and his friends in an enchanted atmosphere of superstition, incest and brutality. Jet black and frightening Stefan Kiesbye directly describes the lives of these young people and the village. He makes us familiar with the abyss that can lurk behind every window and at the end of dirt road.
My opinion:
occasion to meet the funeral of a former girlfriend, Linde, Alex, Christian and Martin in their place of birth, the contemplative village-style inhibitor Moor, which lies in the northern German Teufelsmoor again. Already in the prologue, one senses, that it is only from the outside looks peaceful and idyllic, but in reality much more representative of the above quote. In flashbacks, from different perspectives, the reader learns that precisely nothing is as it seems at first glance. One is confronted with the abyss of the people, incest, rape, child murder are just a few of the topics in Kiesbye "Hemmer Moor" picks.
The book comes from both without this wonderful detailed descriptions and without a high voltage curve, which makes it all the more oppressive. The writing style is unadorned, straightforward, simple but nonetheless striking and the fact that violence and death is not described in lurid be, my head was the first movie had switched right.
Overall, the book can be read quickly, thanks to the writing style, do not process quickly, however. The reader is encouraged to think about, especially since the topics that the author takes up and uses it to happen again and again and is confronted with it in the news. Nevertheless, a little more tension and back story I would have liked to sample the read, I must say I was expecting more, although I can not fix exactly why. A plus, the book from me but for the cover, on the one hand fits very well to the book, on the other hand, one directly in the right mood for it brings.
Conclusion: A haunting theme, nightmarish horror novel, the current appalling human cruelty. From me there 7 of 10 points .

Summary (Source: Amazon) :
Anna's perfect world is shattered when life seems to her mother after their accidental death in a new light - far more adventurous than they had previously thought. Courageous, Anna goes in search of clues that leads them to Nepal, where the paths of an old hippie a shady businessman and the young Nepalese Tara crosses. Anna gets deeper and deeper into a web of lies that abound in their own home. Soon she becomes a pawn in a power struggle that goes back far into the past. When Anna realizes that all the threads come together at the fabled snow leopard, it hovers already in grave danger ...
My opinion: kidnapped
"Valley of the Snow Leopard" by Steffanie Burow readers to the exotic, colorful and exciting world of South Asia and manages itself with me, now that Asia had nothing to do, the desire to get on the plane and to travel to Nepal trigger.
The book has really surprised me, of course, positive. I expected due to the blurb rather a family history, looking at Anna for traces of her past, instead I got a successful adventure story, whose subject includes but above-mentioned search, but it deals in an interesting way. Above all, the story is exciting, in some places even so much that I read the book barely out of hand could because I wanted to know necessarily what happens next. Also, I needed little lead time to delve into the history, despite being told on different levels of time and should the times specified in the chapter headings to pay attention, otherwise It will be confusing.
The different layers of time, but the fact that it is told from multiple perspectives, especially Anna and Tara will set up a high tension, we wait to see how the two women are related to each other and how the threads eventually converge. The resolution is the end not so surprising, but still good and logical. Also I have noticed is positive, is that although indicated a love story, but this is never allowed in the foreground and at the end of space for speculation about the whereabouts of the person.
The characters struck me as very authentic. Anna, as protagonist, is not confident from the start and independent, but develops over the course of history, but also with their naivete and caution them to me was friendly and did not fall on my nerves. In return, I am Tara, who is from Nepal and a kind of antidote to Anna is a little too pale remained, however, especially towards the end, no less appealing. But not only the protagonists are developed well, even the supporting characters are managed.
All in all, my "Valley of the snow leopard" liked very much, you can clearly see how much is the author of this country and she made it that you want to learn to take this country like himself again under the microscope and know. Finally, I would like the mention good cover that fits perfectly with the book and the title that not too many promises.
Conclusion: A successful novel, somewhere between adventure, family drama and a travelogue from the exotic, seductive backdrop of Nepal, who skillfully evokes the fascination and legends of the country to live. From me there for 9 of 10 points .

Summary (Source: Amazon) :
Heavenly love, earthly desires
Mila has long been of Samuel, the best friend of her older brother Rufus, fascinated. Banished them first only his unusual appearance, it comes just before her sixteenth birthday, added a different kind of enchantment: Mila falls in love with Sam. And he seems to reciprocate her feelings. But just when the two get closer, something terrible happens. Sam disappears and Rufus, who had been together that night with his friend, can only dimly remember. Sam is thrown off the cliff? believe
While everyone else by the death of the boy, Mila thinks that Sam is still alive. And indeed, on her birthday, he is back to her - but he is no longer the man he once was. Sam is a shadow rocker has become an angelic beings - and only the love of Mila he has returned to the world of men ...
My opinion:
Some books I did not want to take in hand. And in some books, I'm glad I got it done yet. Shadow Swing "by Tanja Heitmann is just a book. I Has your demons series after the first two volumes fell only moderately, the prelude to this new trilogy, I believe, however, almost perfect and I only have a few criticisms.
The story is well told and moves the reader from Beginning in the spell, because the prologue, the same as in the further course of a few brief passages in italics, is very mysterious, something that is at least in this band is not well resolved real and you wonder who made the speech and what it means to be raised there, "shadow" is all about. But even apart from that the story is interesting and exciting, only in the middle section when the sphere and their story is told often it becomes a bit before the story once again takes up momentum. The question of who or what is the designated evil, can at any rate room for speculation and still has a lot of potential that can implement the author hopefully in the next parts. Language in any case be to read the book very enjoyable and the descriptions provide an accurate understanding of the environment and the characters appearing.
The characters I found most to be very sympathetic, even if the apparent black-white painting between good and evil striking, though not is disturbing. like with Mila Tanja Heitmann and finally, created in comparison to her other books-a female character I do not constantly annoyed slap on the wall, even if we have perhaps a bit naive and too much "Oh, you're not dead ? You have become immortal? All right, we'll continue where we left off "-is somehow I liked them anyway. The male characters however, have convinced me completely, especially Ranuken and Rufus who have kept with me for one or the other hilarity, I have very close to my heart and I look forward to a hopefully-take-find-bye in the other volumes.
The title "shadow wings" fits perfectly with the book and even though we may think of angels, it's not quite true, because the described shadow wings are different. Also, we learn that not all of their strength, power and history underlines this and shows the reader back to his own thoughts and speculations. Total
me the prelude to the "shadow wings' - and really liked trilogy and I am glad that I have given the author a chance, even-or perhaps because - it is a youth book deals, which is about the first love, which is struggling with "supernatural" powers. Too bad that between the sequels but are very long.
Conclusion: A beautiful, exciting young adult novel, which, while not always treated new topic, but brings it over to a romantic, successful manner and to recommend for each Fantasy-/Jugendbuch-/Romantik-Liebhaber certainly is. From me there for 9 of 10 points .

for warmth and spring rings through on every page which have a lure with first flowers, others with wonderful word formations.
Here in the northeast again rattled the cold and the wind eist around the country.
It looked on Saturday like this full of promise, even the Müritzblick had released its terrace for sunbathing.
It was the ancestors of hope, but unfortunately, it did just a heat of the South spoiled ...
Also on Müritzeum the chairs are out again orphaned, after all, a little taste remains a speedy outdoor living in comfortable temperatures.
For all water enthusiasts, I'm still a little gem from the world of acrobatics:

Buttercream Recipe From Cake Boss
Hello Daddy, dear Max
as Jan is visiting you these days, I want to show you where I go for a walk in the morning
This is my favourite place and its not far from our home, the lake is just a few minutes away
We had a lot of snow this winter, too much even for the trees and the lake was frozen for a long time.
But now again I enjoy swimming and catching sticks in the water - not a bit salty like yours there at the sea!
Still there are no boats around, we are all alone while the sun brighten up our day
The ground is still frozen on our way back to the village, but even though the smell of deer is always around ...
Give my love to your people there in Spain, greetings from sunny Schloen, your son :-) Tajo

winter
reflected not only the weather is concerned, but here also with non-existing tourism .
the course for the new season are made and newcomers like us, it is pleasant to use the rest to make contacts. Finally, yes we do
also know where we can in good conscience send our guests. So I'm
because in goods the road, looking here and there a look stroll through the shops and most restaurants, at least some that are not operating as we have peace.
A pleasant employment, however, leads only in the now quiet, except for seasonal weeks, for talks that are not in busy holiday periods are possible.
I like about our town, that she often has this original and authentic businesses that have not yet been standardized by the voracious monsters chain.
To preserve them from extinction, we "locals" not just wait for the tourists, but instead give the same old shopping malls, individual shops a chance.
today led me the way to a Gallery of which I can certainly show this week even more photos, but at least now offer some insight.
wonder Pretty gems are also a small budget to be found, if it was (still) can not be the desired art object .... A visit is worth it for those who an aesthetic have feelings.

[review] Wizard twilight 01: The crown-Bernd Perplies
book information:
ISBN: 978-3-802582646

Summary (Source: Amazon) :
London 1897th During a magic show stage magicians Ravenwood suffers a breakdown and soon afterwards hunted by shadowy figures and fatally injured. The young reporter Jonathan Kentham finds the dying Ravenwood, and this gives him a magic gem. Soon, Jonathan must find that the world has changed. A group of wizards has in the ruins of the lost Atlantis opens an ancient seal, to herald a new age of magic ...
My opinion:
When I started with the book and found that the prologue has already covered 37 pages includes only I: Oh, help, because, these 37 pages I do not even cast a spell. But no sooner started the main part, it plays both in London and in Scotland, every feeling of boredom was pursuing, because from there everything happened very fast. It is exciting, with hardly a pause for breath, the protagonist or the reader, so that I could hardly put it down. Nonetheless, you realize very clearly that this is only the beginning of a series, because the real problem that must solve the Order of the Magi and the protagonists in particular, is only the background to the story telling here, and it acts as a-successful introduction into the world of Perplies described in the context of the political events of 1897 and the cliffhanger at the end only further underlines this.
addition to a thrilling storyline, the book traces but also by authentic and sympathetic characters that have particularly Jonathan Holmes and myself really wrapped around her little finger. Holmes, with his exaggerated, eccentric core but also very cool and that we find some parallels to the hero of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, has not bothered me at all. Rounding
it is from a very successful cover that, though rather plain, very good for the story fits. The two cards in the core, and a list of persons were sometimes helpful.
On the whole me, "For the Crown" very much and is finally a series opener, where the appearance of the next volume I can not wait. There are since long time by myself rather rare awarded 9.5 out of 10 points .

my boots have their protective function of the internal polar side changed to Matschabweisaussenseite.
had unfortunately due to this change in the weather situation, our planned walk around the lake through the rooms of * fail * the inhabited landscape, nature roofs can be caused by too much wind and rain, but that it could be a leisurely hike with a picnic.
Postponed only ....
small events lined the week, preparing for the Easter season, for example, run an update of the website, bookings for the summer and also be approved on TUI , it is gewerkelt and cleared.
But there was also a mega event as a birthday gift in time for the reserved ticket to the Show
January demanded all the superlatives description, lucky to be there!
Have a nice weekend and if you want to dream away to you, then perhaps there travels a little bit.

Real Volleyball Camel Toe
[Statistics] January 2011
is already around back in January, which somehow went pretty fast ... I've read a lot, but without that I would have been ripped directly from the stool. It was a total of 11 books, including 3 books of the Old SuB, 4 walks and a library book, as well as 2 books I read had forced the university. On average there was 6.45 of 10 points.

A T-tag
great sorrow and sad, thinking about death, sad and yet .....
a year ago there were white flowers, this year was the yellow bouquet,
we think of sunshine and the happy moments, enjoy
us a smile of remembrance and we know not alone with our loss.
lives in our hearts, they continue .....
