Since 10/27/2002 I am now registered in the GamePro forum and now I celebrate my 4000th Contribution (1.85 posts per day). Today it is time to look back on my time in the forum. Six long years I've stayed true to this forum and there were some ups and downs. Let's start:
At the forum, I am of course by the GamePro come. On my registration period, the GamePro just came fresh on the market, how many issues were previously available but I can not say exactly. The first real issue at the newsstand was 10/2002, ie the intervening period may not have been too large. At that time the Forum had a completely different design and was much smaller. Over time, however, are more and more users come, and brought life to the place tidy.
When I look at old posts of mine, I only wonder about what I wrote for a nonsense. At that time I was still using a different user name on the board - BenderXXL I used to be called. At some point I will but by a the then mods can be renamed. Since then, knows (and loves
) I am known as Bert Barth. My post behavior was not always so special. At first I was very motivated and I have written a lot. But when I look at my 1000 thread, I just wonder how I got that far. At some point I had lost the desire on the forum and made a big break, the exact times but I have not in the head. For a while I have only read by and written anything. Somehow I had to write because there is no great desire was. Earlier this year I had even turned to another gaming magazine forum - namely the NMAG forum. With the death of the mags was for me but somehow the forum died. Since I also had quite a good time ne (it was more among themselves because there were hardly any user), but in the GamePro forum was and is definitely better! So I've been about half a year here in this Forum. I had started there with ~ 2600 posts and now I am in 4000th When users choose the forum I was even two first - I was really happy.
here in the forum I have met many nice people and learned you can just write about everything. Whether on games (where I currently only have the bargain-day follow thread), about the issue (here I let myself from you, even if I cancel my subscription now, unfortunately), in about movies ( Media forum I read from time to time with really active I am here but surely not) or about God and the world in Smalltalk Forum (here I know most of the first love-thread). I find this forum and the community just great! Keep it up - and a more beautiful time with you!
