Siren Red Crepe Myrtal

Today in an interview: Jenny Rossberg

1) What did you do before your life in the GP?

The Current: birth, kindergarten, school, graduation, training as a social assistant (or: Children enjoy Erin), study, and then I have been doing casual work for several months. Then I applied for and was hired as GamePro Traineuse

2) Tell us something about you ...
Why has it taken up by the beautiful Rhine to the Isar?

As hard as it was not me lure of the Rhine. Yes because I have only in recent years during the study lived there, originally I am from Lower Saxony. Also, I wanted since I about 14 years old was determined to work in the video game industry. There is the Traineeship at GamePro exercise of course a huge success for me and for this opportunity to, I was drawn also likely to Timbuktu

3) Video games are more a male domain ... how did up the "V" virus-infected?

I play video games since 1989. At that time I have often gambled with my brother, my cousins on the C64 and the Atari. Shortly thereafter, it has done to me then the chunky, gray Game Boy, followed shortly after the Master System by SEGA. Where the interest came originally, I know but do not remember exactly. In any case, I'm in my circle of friends and family now the only one who still regularly ripped off video games.

4) Your "Must Have" for the summer of 2010?

I love the horror genre so I'm just waiting to see "Alan Wake" for the 360. If indeed as early as May, but is still my summer highlight I hope my expectations will be fulfilled ...

5) You are stranded on a desert island and allowed to take three men ... Who?

food is important, so I'll take a cook who can cook the meager food to me on the island tasty. Then another (Such as collecting wood for the camp fire) man for the dirty work and a cuddle

6) What is the day of trainees from among you?

When I come to the office, I cook first coffee for the stressed Henry, that he somehow survives the day. Then I dove Kais action figures carefully, and then it's time for Mark's foot massage ...
kidding aside, I basically do the same, do what the editors too. I get games for testing and look at this in detail. Then I write an article and make the corresponding video. Now and again I'm still Specials the site and also visits to publishers are not uncommon. Even after Japan, I was already sent to meet with Shinji Mikami and me his new game "Vanquish" look.

7 Will) you adequately treated by the men in the newsroom? ... Even if the coffee does not taste good times ...

I am becoming very well treated. That's just the advantage when you're the only woman in the newsroom. In particular, Henry is very caring and has a strong maternal side

8) You will be beamed into the year 1980 and allowed to take one console and three games. How do you show the Atari VCS junkies what the future looks like?

I am of course with nothing. Films like "Back to the Future" have taught us that we must change not the past

9) How difficult is such a Japan-study and what did you mean before?

The study of "Modern Japan" (the official title ) is very learning intensive. Only about half of the students creates the conclusion, as it is riddled rock hard. Although I'm actually very lazy learning, for language courses have won a lot of cramming. Fortunately, I have to study then packed at once, without turning a lap of honor in the Japanese classes have.
For Modern Japan and Germanic way, I've decided, because I wanted to be a translator for video games. However, my Japanese for the job is unfortunately not nearly good enough

10) Someone gives you 200 million euros. What do you do with the money?

First I would buy myself a fancy, large Full HD TV and once again make extensive holiday in the sun. Then I would distribute some Milliƶnchen to my family and put the rest on the curb. Is now indeed a boring but honest answer for

11) Better luck in the game of love?

Of course not, because who really likes to be alone?

12) Highlights of your video game collection?

My absolute favorite games, and therefore the highlights of my collection are "Silent Hill 2" and "Final Fantasy X" for the PS2. My retro consoles, which I have each have the original packaging include, but I also particularly dear. So it is with my "Secret of Evermore for the SNES, I'm also still in the original box and with the included solution book on the shelf ... And I guess that my signed by Shinji Mikami copies of "Biohazard 2" and "Resident Evil 4 "probably could still call highlights.

13) Will there be yet more threads like the Quasselthread of you? ... (the only time I "is not moderated and PhanZero have read in a thread ...)

was unfortunately my Quassel thread during my vacation so once again closed for no reason. But I do not give up so easily, it will definitely be a sequel

14) Do you have a link that would save you if it would be hard to come to the crunch or are you assigned?
... half the forum would get me on the roof if I did not ask this important question of all ..

very clear answer: Yes and No!

15) And lastly ... a sentence on the forum.

Since most users in our forums we know, are male, you can study there, well the thinking of you guys. Real exciting, just like in the newsroom
