makes all things new in May: The Anime Channel
who has recently been surfing on the BP main find there a new channel.
In the DS-channel has already taken hold in the Orange anime channel with a small super-panda. If you click on it
there you are immediately at the things from the land of the rising sun.
There you will find reviews of anime DVD movies or series. A studio portrait of Ghiblis, and other things around the funny fellow with the tears on the head. Furthermore, there is news of the J-Culture.
has thought the whole thing with games and consoles should emulate little and a small oasis of fine affinity of all anime, and interested users are.
Here you can look at you the whole time:
Anime Channel
course I grabbed me at once the editor of the whole thing looked after him and have a few questions.
Ladies and Gentleman, the unofficial GP-Blog Presents:
Nino guy in the interview
What did you do before your GP-life?
> was after my trade-Abi (aka poor man's high school), I long haired Zivi, I've seen a little bit of the world, some evenings as "DJ Shotgun Son" music made (Recall the legendary Suicide Circus party ;-)), others spent at the tap behind the counter. After the gastronomic rendezvous I illustrated two children's books and ended up in radio. There I spent four years as a presenter and editor.
The Anime Channel is a new feature of the GP site. Explain briefly what we are expecting.
> As the name suggests, is to be the channel to a future - molt platform for the topic of anime - though small and manageable. The user will find a compilation of news and DVD reviews, and the video format Akibatteru?.
Is that your baby or who came up with the idea?
> The "basic idea" is probably by me - yes. The development of "Channel-form" various people were involved. Among other things, André Horn and Dirk Steiger. Originally I had a sort of quay Trash Corner presented for anime. A section devoted to just anime. Some time later the online idea, followed by the channel idea.
Anime, Manga and Co have built up a very high priority in the German entertainment. Therefore the idea?
> Surely this is one reason - of course. Primarily, we want the Anime Channel on gamepro.de reach people, however, and happy (that sounds weird?) Who are interested in both for games like anime. I do not believe there is a lot, because anime and games also go hand in hand (see: DBZ, Naruto, Tales of Vesperia, Valkyria Chronicles, Pokemon, etc etc).
If the channel and entered into the site better? Perhaps a separation of news and articles?
> Similar gamepro.de will also change the channel / improve. In the current (starting) stage, we try different things out. We want one that anime fans the latest news from the anime universe does not first have to scramble to find gamepro.de on the other hand we want all the people who have nothing to do with anime not deterred. Let's see what's going on in the coming weeks Sun
should keep the anime-influenced channel really only strictly anime or will there be other impressions of the J-Culture?
> Oh yes - there will be. The first step in this direction we have with the above video format Akibatteru? done. In this show we want to give the audience above all impressions from Japan / Tokyo / Akihabara. Not everyone has the chance to jet to Tokyo time. Therefore we would like to Akibatteru? a bit of a remedy and will cover in this context, various sectors such as Manga, Cosplay, J-pop culture and so on. The same is also true for our news. Again, we want to reinforce to us not only to the theme anime, but think outside the box.
Some users complain that the anime channel may be called too much capacity and editor cut back so the real part, consoles and games, would have. Justified?
> unfounded. I have this - quite justified - criticism in the forum-related and position can be happy again be clear! The GamePro editors is not the channel registered care. We work in this connection along with freelance writers. As you may know from the team side, I work for several weeks in the Special Projects (aka Special Projects and Weapons and Tactics - short SPAWAT ;-)) Department. Meaning, make editorial editor, Special Projects Special Projects makes. So do not worry!
Did you have multiple channels in mind? And or why it just became the anime channel?
> No, we do not have a channel out of a bucket with channel proposals drawn randomly. As mentioned above, we want to involve the issue of anime for quite some time - did but not in what form. Now it's just a channel to become gamepro.de and I am happy with it - and I hope the users too.
Will there be reports from the heart of Japan?
> Sure. As I said: Keyword Akibatteru? There are now every two weeks a new episode on gamepro.de or an anime channel. Of course you can put in a 5-to-10-minute format does not report proper. This would go beyond the time frame a little (...). The topics and their treatment, however, are based on reports / feature format, yes. Rejoice on it - that are exclusive and really great insight! Even apart of Akibatteru? There will be Japan-reports. Details but I can not yet tell ...
Last but . What are your personal favorites from the great anime universe?
> Difficult. Absolute evergreens were, are and will remain, but in any case: Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Fist of the North Star, and each disk with Studio Ghibli branding ;-)
Thank you for your time!
> Very happy!
